The Foundation's Court complaint alleges that the government failed to follow its own rules and applicable legislation in rushing the vaccine approvals in the absence of any of the requisite minimum scientifically sound and appropriate testing for both safety and effectiveness as required by law since 1964.
Despite the FDA's intention to begin delivery this week of what they describe as the novel "Swine Flu" 2009-H1N1-A live virus nasal mist vaccine to 90,000 government-approved locations nationwide, six New Yorkers, including Natural Solutions Foundation's Medical Director, Rima E. Laibow, MD, and several NonGovernmental Organizations (NGOs) filed for an Emergency Injunction in the US District Court for the District of Columbia to prevent the distribution of what they believe are illegal, unnecessary and dangerous vaccines.
The case of Null et al. v FDA et al. [Docket No. expected Friday, October 9, 2009] challenges the legality of the September 15th, 2009 licensing of four vaccines prior to any safety testing for what the government calls a "novel flu virus with pandemic potential." Although the government states that none of the vaccines contain adjuvants, that is manifestly untrue since the injected vaccines contain aluminum, a toxic adjuvant, and Novartis told the Natural Solutions Foundation on that same day that their approved vaccine contains MF59, their proprietary squalen adjuvant. The purpose of an adjuvant is to irritate the immune system into greater production of antibodies than it would otherwise create in response to a smaller antigen dose. Antigens are the most costly part of a vaccine to manufacture. Therefore, despite the enormous dangers, vaccine manufacturers are eager to use adjuvants.
Adjuvants like squalene (also known as MF59, ASO 1, 2, 3 and 4) are highly toxic unapproved drugs in the US. The Novartis (approved) Swine Flu and GSK (awaiting approval) vaccines contain 1 million times more oil in water adjuvant (read, "squalene") than the devastatingly dangerous Vaccine A which caused the profound illness and death of so many previously healthy service men and women.

A pair of patents filed in 1998 provide a means of turning the immune system of anyone receiving an injection of squalene at high doses plus a pig glycoprotein (very similar to the many biologically active human glycoproteins we all have) against the reproductive capacity of that person. That means that all of the children and pregnant women who are the first guinea pigs for these vaccines around the world could be rendered permanantly and irreversibly infertile through these shots.
Perhaps this helps to explain the mystery of why the US government would invest almost half a billion dollars ($485M) to stock pile a dangerous, untested and unapproved injectable version of squalene. The rest of the mystery, of course, is solved when20you recall that the FDA has said on its site that the squalene will be added to ("admixed") with the vaccines administered at the 90,000 sites to which they will be sent for injection.
Natural Solutions Foundation Seeks Delay in Vaccine Use Until Legally Required Safety Testing Has Been Completed
Although safety testing of all vaccines is inadequate, as shown by the high levels of side effects, adverse events and damage caused by vaccines, especi ally influenza vaccines [and most especially, live attenuated influenza virus or LAIV vaccines], even that safety testing has been eliminated by the FDA. The government says that the H1N1 virus is so novel that they classify it as a bioweapon.
Yet they say that there is no need to test the vaccines, adjuvanted, LAIV or not, because their manufacture was accomplished by the same means that other influenza vaccines are made.
While this would not mean the vaccines should not be tested, the manufacturers themselves give the lie to this rationalization for imperalling all of us: Novartis and Baxter claims that their approved vaccine is, in fact, manufactured in a novel manner.
It is so novel, in fact, that we have previously written about the dangers of vaccines cultured in monkey kidney cells which are infected with, among other stealth viruses, SMV40, a known cause of leukemia and other soft tissue cancers responsible for the leukemia epidemic which has impacted so many recipients of the polio vaccines.
There is no assurance whatsoever that this danger, and others similar to it, has been eliminated from these vaccines.
Yet FDA races to approve them before their dangers CAN be do cumented in order to protect the manufacturers - and itslef! - from loosing their protection from all litigation and liability UNLESS they act in willful negligence.
Any court in the land would find that if they completed the safety tests, saw the dangers of the vaccines and continued to use them, they would be acting in willful negilgence and then all sorts of fiscal hell would break loose. So it is imperative that they reap their astonishing financial windfalls and sow their deadly whirlwinds BEFORE any safety testing is completed.
Nasal spray vaccines, which are LAIV vaccines, according to their manufacturer, Medimmune, while not adjuvanted, work by producing the very illness they are supposedly designed to prevent (it's not a case of the flu since it was not "acquired in the community", but it has the identical symptoms. Of course, we say, "If it coughs like a Swine, Flies like a Swine, has muscle aches like a Swine, it must be the Swine that Flu", rig ht?)
That means, of course, that the government, in collusion with WHO and the depopulationists, have every intention of unleasing a pandemic. Once the virus is well established, it is free to reassort, mutate, recombine and undergo changes that could turn it from a trivial infection which requires, despite all the hype, no treatment and is actually milder than the regular seasonal flu, into something truly fearsome. At that point, if it happens, several things will happen: First, we believe that mandatory vaccination, now permitted under emergency powers at the State and Federal levels, will be invoked, with vaccine refusal criminalized and punished by misdemenor or felony status, fines and incarceration/involuntary quarantine.
Second, vaccine refusers who do not allow their children to be vaccinated will either see them forcibly vaccinated against their wishes or removed from their homes. Intrusion teams are already funded by the Federal Government and many States are following suit. FEMA announced a few months back that they had set up special camps to meet the special needs of children.
Third, if people try to protect themselves and their children using physical means to stop the intrustion teams, vaccinations, loss of rights and personal autonomy and indignity of being forced to undergo dangerous proceedures which violate their beliefs and wishes, the spectre of Marshal Law will suddenly become very, very real.
Therefore, our best protection is urgent, vigorous action now, not tomorrow.
Our government has, in fact, turned against both our rights and our bodies. In fact, it has turned against our very survival. We still have legal actions available to us and there are, astonishingly, still some judges lo yal to the Constitution they have sworn to uphold. There are also some military people loyal to the same document and their loyalty is a factor which may yet save us all, IF the foreign troops quartered on US soil (also forbidden by the Constitution) are not brought to bear upon us in tyrannical ways.

Obama Wins 2009 Nobel Peace Prize
After enduring months of allegations and scrutiny from non supporters for allegedly not making good on his campaign promises. Barrack Hussein Obama finally has his moment in the spotlight. As President Obama made his way down the isle that leads to the stage, nobody had a clue what was about to unfold. President Obama, less than a year into office stood proudly on the stage as the award was handed to him, he smiled and raised it skyward before beginning to speak, just then from out of no where, Kanye West took the microphone from President Obama and stole his thunder speaking directly to the crowd.
"Look look Oh-bah-ma, I'm happy for you an all dat, but realistically Oh-bah-ma you are not the most unqualified candidate for this award yo. There are a lot of straight up killas that are doin it every day yo, an day ain't hidin behind some desk in the white house, I'm saying, some of the hardest thugs of all time." Then he handed the microphone back to Obama who stood there stunned as they broke away to a commercial break. Kanye was escorted back to his limousine.
Backstage, his wife Michelle commented, "Sure my husband has said some things that he probably didn't mean, all presidents do it, it's how you get elected, this is America, my husband is just as undeserving as anyone to receive this award and what Kanye did was very disturbing. You will see in the months to come just how undeserving my husband is." Everyone backstage seemed to be in agreement.
Obama could not be reached for comment because he was on his way to make a live speech about how he is a fierce advocate of gay rights, and how he intends to prove so by allowing as many gays as possible to join the military in Afghanistan and Iraq. Obama commented "I may not have gotten around to the legislation's I had promised last year before being elected, but I assure you, that as men and women of the military, I will show no favoritism in deciding who gets the opportunity go to the middle east."
Reporters swirled around Obama's limousine but were ushered away as they screamed questions like "Mr President, now that you are in office, will your ties to the CFR be put on hold?" and "Mr President, how many troops are really serving in the middle east including mercenary personnel such as Blackwater?"
Back at the Peace Prize awards ceremony, the worlds richest feasted on lobster tail, caviar, and champagne as they buzzed about the history of this grand event. For those of you do not know much of the Nobel Peace Prize history, a few facts. (All kidding aside here)

The Nobel prize was invented by the Swedish industrialist and inventor of dynamite Alfred Nobel, and was first awarded in 1901. Thats right, the inventor of "Explosives" is who founded this "Peace Prize"
Those qualified to nominate candidates include members of national governments, international judiciary, academics and previous prize winners. Not very open to outsiders.
Five Norwegians are chosen by Norway's parliament to sit on the Nobel Committee. Five citizens of Norway, which is an Island. Not very connected to the middle east, or the events of the world for that matter.
The committee compiles a shortlist of between five and 20 candidates, of course, all selected candidates are nominated by the filthy rich industrialists and international swindlers of the world.
The shortlist is considered by the Nobel Institute's permanent advisers, mainly Norwegian academics, not humanitarians or Peace advocates, but academics.
The Nobel Committee chooses the winner.
Details of the nominations and selection process are kept secret for a minimal of 50 years.
In all fairness, there have been some outstanding people who have won this award... Mother Theresa, Lech Walesa, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr... Still no names like Mahatma Gandhi, John Lennon, Harriet Tubman, etc etc...
Some other winners that were less than deserving of an award for Peace are, Henry Kissenger, Jimmy Carter, United Nations and the United Nations Secretary General,
As to why this award was given to a man who is leading a country that is currently engaged in not one but TWO wars is something that I'm sure boggles the minds of many of thousands of people, here are the committees comments.
The Nobel Committee said he won it for "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and co-operation between peoples". The committee highlighted Mr Obama's efforts to support international bodies and promote nuclear disarmament.
"Only very rarely has a person to the same extent as Obama captured the world's attention and given its people hope for a better future," the Norwegian committee said in a statement.
Again the word "Hope" a mere shallow promise, not yet followed through on, not even yet acknowledged. What a lame reasoning.
Thats right, they also said for supporting international bodies, international bodies such as the CFR, United Nations, and all other affiliations of the Illuminati. All the while reinstating the constitution stripping provisions of the Patriot Act, and leaving Americans waiting at the alter for the things he promised them in his campaign speeches.
Oh-Baaah-Ma... Mr. International!
And speaking of nuclear disarmament, the only country Obama has shown an interest in disarming is Iran, a country in which he has no say or influence, and has no authority over. Obama has done nothing to reduce nuclear arms here at home, or to influence our top ally Israel to limit their secret nuclear superiority over the bordering Muslim countries. In fact Israel is the worlds leading country of nuclear weapon cover ups. But Mr. International has done nothing to address Israels illegal arms, or to prevent the oppression of the people of Palestine by the Israeli Army.

Obama has done nothing truly to deserve this any other award. He is a war president, as well as a war criminal.
This all just goes to prove that Norway REALLY is an Island, very out of touch with the rest of the world, and makes a few fact's pertinently clear.
1) That money does run the world.
2) That our mainstream media are really doing what the elite are paying them to do.
3) That Americans are as dumb now as they were when Bush was in office, by being mesmerized by this fool.
I find it hysterically funny that less than a week after being mocked by Saturday Night Live, exposed for not following through with ANY of his campaign promises, he wins this prize. Even funnier, is that it is being awarded to man conducting 3 wars, one in Afghanistan, one in Iraq, and one here at home against freedom of speech by renewing the Patriot Act and its most constitution limiting provisions.
I find it however quite disturbing that this was announced on John Lennons birthday. I hope the ghost of John Lennon shits in Obama's cheerios every morning from here until the day he is removed from office by the military for being a domestic enemy of the United States Constitution.

Urgent lawsuit filed against FDA to halt swine flu vaccines; claims FDA violated federal law
(NaturalNews) Health freedom attorney Jim Turner is filing a lawsuit in Washington D.C. mid-day Friday in an urgent effort to halt the distribution of the swine flu vaccine in America. On behalf of plaintiffs Dr. Gary Null and other licensed health care workers of New York State, the lawsuit charges that the FDA violated the law in its hasty approval of four swine flu vaccines by failing to scientifically determine neither the safety nor efficacy of the vaccines.
"The suit will seek an injunction against the FDA from approving the vaccine," attorney Jim Turner told NaturalNews on Thursday evening's Natural News Talk Hour show. "And the core of the argument is that they have not done the proper safety and efficacy tests on the vaccine to allow it to be release at this time."
The suit seeks to not only nullify the FDA's unlawful "approval" of the four H1N1 influenza vaccines, but to also ask the court to issue an injunction that would halt any mandatory vaccination requirements.
"The FDA is required by law to establish that a vaccine is safe and effective before it can be given to the public," said Turner. "We are arguing that they did not establish that the vaccine was effective, and did not establish that it was safe. They are trying to get it on the market by a waiver."
Vaccine / adjuvant combination has never been properly tested
The vaccine / adjuvant combination being referred to as the "swine flu vaccine" has apparently never been safety tested or approved by the FDA. In fact, in many cases the vaccine is being sent to clinics, pharmacies and other health establishments separately from the adjuvant chemical, leaving it up to each local vaccine retailer to properly mix the vaccine with the adjuvant, according to information provided by Turner. With hundreds of millions of Americans potentially being targeted with this vaccine, the potential for improper mixing, improper dosages, and human error is alarming.
If the charges described in the lawsuit are true, it means the FDA has blatantly abandoned medical science and violated its own regulations in approving not only these four vaccines, but the potentially deadly adjuvant chemicals as well. To date, the FDA has produced absolutely no scientific evidence documenting safety tests for any of these swine flu vaccines. There are no published studies, no records of any clinical trials, and no publicly-..available paper trail demonstrating that any safety testing was done whatsoever. There is no researcher who has publicly put their name on the record declaring the vaccines to be safe, and no FDA official has ever stated that scientifically-..valid safety testing has ever been conducted on the vaccine / adjuvant combinations now being distributed across America.
Normally, when a pharmaceutical achieves "FDA approved" status, there is a considerable paper trail of scientific scrutiny, peer review, clinical trials and other supporting evidence. To our knowledge, no such documents exist for the swine flu vaccines. The FDA's approval of these vaccines appears to be based entirely on a whim.
"What has been tested?" asked attorney Jim turner. "Where has it been tested? Who reviewed the test? Who looked at the test and said yes they proved safety and efficacy? There is no record that we can find that shows these things have been done."
By approving the four vaccines in the absence of such safety testing, the FDA itself stands in direct violation of federal law. "There is a law that they're supposed to follow and they are not following it," Turner added.
Billions of dollars are at stake
Why, then, did the FDA apparently violate the law and push these vaccines into full public distribution without securing the safety testing required by law? Turner suspects a profit motive may be involved: "They're charging $24.95 to get a vaccine. Multiplied by 100 million people, that's a lot of money. If you do the whole society, you're talking about several billion dollars."
In fact, the U.S. vaccination push could ultimately target over 200 million Americans, generating nearly $5 billion in vaccine-..related revenues. Cashing in on those revenues, however, requires three things:
1) Spreading fear about H1N1 swine flu by exaggerating its dangers.
2) Quickly making a vaccine available for sale, even if it has never been thoroughly tested for safety and efficacy.
3) Aggressively marketing the vaccines before the H1N1 swine flu fizzles out and can no longer be hyped up as "highly virulent."
All three of these conditions are now being pushed aggressively in the U.S. by pharma-..influenced health authorities at both the state and federal level. There is a mad, cult-like rush under way to vaccinate American citizens with an unproven, untested chemical that was thrust into distribution in apparent violation of federal law. And if this vaccine is not stopped, the price that may ultimately be paid in terms of lost lives could be quite dire.
It all harkens back to 1976 when a previous formulation of the swine flu vaccine paralyzed and killed thousands of Americans. Turner was one of the attorneys instrumental in halting that vaccine, and he fears a repeat situation could potentially recur today. He told NaturalNews, "[In 1976] they were intending to inoculate 200 million people. We stopped them... and somewhere between 40 and 50 million people were vaccinated. What ultimately brought it down is that a substantial number of people got 'French Polio' [..Guillain-Barre syndrome], a paralysis that goes... through the body, and if it goes far enough you die."

On behalf of plaintiffs Dr. Gary Null and other licensed health care workers of New York State, the lawsuit charges that the FDA violated the law in its hasty approval of four swine flu vaccines by failing to scientifically determine neither the safety nor efficacy of the vaccines.
"The suit will seek an injunction against the FDA from approving the vaccine," attorney Jim Turner told NaturalNews on Thursday evening's Natural News Talk Hour show. "And the core of the argument is that they have not done the proper safety and efficacy tests on the vaccine to allow it to be release at this time."
The suit seeks to not only nullify the FDA's unlawful "approval" of the four H1N1 influenza vaccines, but to also ask the court to issue an injunction that would halt any mandatory vaccination requirements.
"The FDA is required by law to establish that a vaccine is safe and effective before it can be given to the public," said Turner. "We are arguing that they did not establish that the vaccine was effective, and did not establish that it was safe. They are trying to get it on the market by a waiver."
Vaccine / adjuvant combination has never been properly tested
The vaccine / adjuvant combination being referred to as the "swine flu vaccine" has apparently never been safety tested or approved by the FDA. In fact, in many cases the vaccine is being sent to clinics, pharmacies and other health establishments separately from the adjuvant chemical, leaving it up to each local vaccine retailer to properly mix the vaccine with the adjuvant, according to information provided by Turner. With hundreds of millions of Americans potentially being targeted with this vaccine, the potential for improper mixing, improper dosages, and human error is alarming.
If the charges described in the lawsuit are true, it means the FDA has blatantly abandoned medical science and violated its own regulations in approving not only these four vaccines, but the potentially deadly adjuvant chemicals as well. To date, the FDA has produced absolutely no scientific evidence documenting safety tests for any of these swine flu vaccines. There are no published studies, no records of any clinical trials, and no publicly-..available paper trail demonstrating that any safety testing was done whatsoever. There is no researcher who has publicly put their name on the record declaring the vaccines to be safe, and no FDA official has ever stated that scientifically-..valid safety testing has ever been conducted on the vaccine / adjuvant combinations now being distributed across America.
Normally, when a pharmaceutical achieves "FDA approved" status, there is a considerable paper trail of scientific scrutiny, peer review, clinical trials and other supporting evidence. To our knowledge, no such documents exist for the swine flu vaccines. The FDA's approval of these vaccines appears to be based entirely on a whim.
"What has been tested?" asked attorney Jim turner. "Where has it been tested? Who reviewed the test? Who looked at the test and said yes they proved safety and efficacy? There is no record that we can find that shows these things have been done."
By approving the four vaccines in the absence of such safety testing, the FDA itself stands in direct violation of federal law. "There is a law that they're supposed to follow and they are not following it," Turner added.
Billions of dollars are at stake
Why, then, did the FDA apparently violate the law and push these vaccines into full public distribution without securing the safety testing required by law? Turner suspects a profit motive may be involved: "They're charging $24.95 to get a vaccine. Multiplied by 100 million people, that's a lot of money. If you do the whole society, you're talking about several billion dollars."
In fact, the U.S. vaccination push could ultimately target over 200 million Americans, generating nearly $5 billion in vaccine-..related revenues. Cashing in on those revenues, however, requires three things:
1) Spreading fear about H1N1 swine flu by exaggerating its dangers.
2) Quickly making a vaccine available for sale, even if it has never been thoroughly tested for safety and efficacy.
3) Aggressively marketing the vaccines before the H1N1 swine flu fizzles out and can no longer be hyped up as "highly virulent."
All three of these conditions are now being pushed aggressively in the U.S. by pharma-..influenced health authorities at both the state and federal level. There is a mad, cult-like rush under way to vaccinate American citizens with an unproven, untested chemical that was thrust into distribution in apparent violation of federal law. And if this vaccine is not stopped, the price that may ultimately be paid in terms of lost lives could be quite dire.
It all harkens back to 1976 when a previous formulation of the swine flu vaccine paralyzed and killed thousands of Americans. Turner was one of the attorneys instrumental in halting that vaccine, and he fears a repeat situation could potentially recur today. He told NaturalNews, "[In 1976] they were intending to inoculate 200 million people. We stopped them... and somewhere between 40 and 50 million people were vaccinated. What ultimately brought it down is that a substantial number of people got 'French Polio' [..Guillain-Barre syndrome], a paralysis that goes... through the body, and if it goes far enough you die."

Enough already with the whining, moaning, demonstrating and protesting by health care workers. Doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, nurses’ aides, and anyone else who has regular contact with patients ought to be required to get a flu shot or find another line of work.
The California Nurses Association and the National Nurses Organizing Committee have issued statements that individuals should be able to refuse the vaccine. The New York State Public Employees Federation said that “vaccination for influenza is not as effective in the control of disease as vaccination for diseases such as polio, measles and mumps.” Other health groups wanted to know why those who preferred to shun the shot could not simply wear masks.
Last week hundreds of people showed up in Albany, N.Y., at a rally to protest New York State’s plan to require all state workers to get both an annual flu shot and a swine flu vaccine. Most at the rally said their rights were being infringed.
Excuse me? What rights might those be? The right to infect your patient and kill them? The right to create havoc in the health care workforce if swine flu hits hard? The right to ignore all the evidence of safety and efficacy of vaccines thus continuing to promulgate an irrational fear on the part of the public of the best protection babies, pregnant women, the elderly and the frail have against the flu? Those rights?
Many hospitals in Illinois, Washington, Missouri, Georgia and Maryland are putting in place flu shot mandates. My own institution, the University of Pennsylvania Health System and its affiliated, top-ranked Children’s Hospital are leading the way in getting mandates moving. Why? The answer is simple: The vaccine will save lives.
Nothing works as well as vaccines to prevent getting the flu and transmitting it others. Masks may help, but still 20 percent of those who wear them get sick. There is no evidence that vitamins, special diets, fresh air or any other alternative ideas does anything to make flu viruses less nasty. And all we really have to fight swine flu are ventilators, some drugs that may or may not work and the new vaccine.

The medical establishment has been recommending that kids get flu shots forever. If you want to legally immigrate to this country you have to roll up your sleeve. Why should health care workers be treated any differently?
I understand that there are a few people who have medical reasons not to get a flu shot. Those people are and should be exempt. But that is not the issue driving opposition to mandates. When there is push back it is based on the notion that the individual’s rights are being trampled in the name of the common good.
Look, there are legitimate issues that ought to be debated whenever someone says you must do something to benefit others ranging from taxation to restrictions on driving under the influence. But health care workers' own code of ethics dictates that they put the interests of others — their patients — first.
Getting a flu shot is the least those who claim to be bound by professional ethics ought to do. It's time to man-up and protect those at risk in our hospitals and nursing homes, along with each other, and make getting a flu shot a part of the responsibility of being a healer.

30 Pro-Rape Senators (All GOP)

GOP votes against measure to help victims of rape at govt. contractors
Political commentators are accusing Senate Republicans of hypocrisy -- and even outright support of rape -- after thirty of them voted against a measure to de-fund military contractors who prevent rape victims from seeking justice.
Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) introduced an amendment to a defense appropriations bill that would prevent the federal government from funding contractors whose employee contracts prevent workers from pursuing allegations of rape against co-workers.
The measure passed the Senate by a vote of 68 to 30, with all 30 'no' votes being cast by Republicans. Notably, 10 Senate Republicans voted for the measure, including all four female Republican senators.
Franken was inspired to push the amendment by the story of Jamie Leigh Jones, who was an employee of KBR -- at the time a subsidiary of Halliburton -- working in Baghdad's Green Zone when she was allegedly gang-raped by other KBR workers.
In a harrowing expose, ABC News recounted how Jones was locked in a shipping container, denied access to communication with the outside world, and told she would lose her job if she left Iraq or sought medical attention.
As RAW STORY reported last month, Jones recently won the right to sue KBR over her ordeal.
Until 2007, KBR was a subsidiary of Halliburton, the company run by Dick Cheney until he resigned as CEO to become vice-president of the United States. It was that connection to partisan politics that evidently led a majority of Senate Republicans to vote against the measure.
Sen. Jeff Sessions, Republican of Alabama, called Franken's measure "a political attack directed at Halliburton."
Indeed, Franken's amendment names Halliburton and KBR directly, but also states the regulation applies to "any other contracting party."
But that has not stopped political commentators from attacking Senate Republicans for what they see as a vote for rape, and against justice for women.

This is interesting. According to Republicans, a fake pimp and ho, reported to the police, was apparently so beyond the pale that they've worked to strip ACORN of all federal funding. But denying employees actual redress from gang rapes is no big deal?
Will the GOP soon introduce a new Constitution Amendment that reads, "Congress shall make no law respecting the ability of corporations to gang rape their employees"? Is support for corporate gang rape already in the GOP platform, or does it need to be added at their next meeting? Is there a huge corporate gang rape lobby that is funneling millions into GOP pockets, or did they vote this way out of personal conviction?

To summarize the Republican position: As women, we are not "average Americans," and gang rape is not a "serious" issue. As women, no matter how powerful we become on our own merits, the Republican establishment will still be hoping for a man to come along and put us in our place.
You don't have to go very far beneath the Republican surface claims of equality-but-not-really to get to the rock-bottom sense that women just don't count, that our rights and our wellbeing are always subordinate to whatever interest of men they might conflict with. When it comes to it, even the (themselves sexist) notions of chivalry and protecting women come behind protecting the right of corporations to imprison their female employees to shield their male employees from rape charges and still get government contracts.
For her part, Jamie Leigh Jones seems pleased that Franken's amendment passed, regardless of who voted against it.
"It means that every tear shed to go public and repeat my story over and over again to make a difference for other women was worth it," she said on Tuesday outside the Senate chamber, after hugging Sen. Franken and telling him: "Way to go."

Questionable Motives: Mainstream Medicine Attacks Colloidal Silver
(NaturalNews) Prior to the advent of patentable and more profitable antibiotics, medicines containing silver were the most widely prescribed infection fighters by doctors and there were no fewer than 34 different approved prescription and over the counter medications which contained silver. Now, after the elimination of most large particle and silver nitrate products and after improved technology has made nano-sized particles that require far less parts per million, colloidal silver proponents claim that it is safer and more effective than ever. At the same time, however, it has become the subject of increasing attacks by mainstream medicine, which labels colloidal silver as a scam, as quackery and as a dangerous substance with no proven value.
When it is pointed out that colloidal and nano-silver are used by NASA, Potters for Peace, the Hong Kong Subway System, Cure-Aid, and major hospital burn units, the detractors often concede that perhaps it works externally; however, they maintain that when it is taken internally it causes dangerous toxicity due to silver build-up. In a familiar refrain when it comes to silver and other alternatives to mainstream drugs, it is also claimed that colloidal silver taken internally has no "scientifically" proven benefits. One of the most widely publicized warnings is that colloidal silver causes people to turn blue due to a skin condition known as argyria.
Yet, the EPA says that 90-95% of ingested silver particles are eliminated from the body within two days and 99% are gone within a week (1). Furthermore, the bluest of the blue people, "Papa Smurf" Paul Karason was given a clean bill of health at Mount Sinai Hospital. (2) Karason, like the Montana senator who has bluish skin, did not actually take colloidal silver. Instead, he took large quantities of home-made ionic silver made with tap water and contaminated with salt for a prolonged period of time.
When it comes to scientific studies regarding the benefits of internal silver, last year it was reported that researchers in Hungary found specific silver receptors on human tissue - an indication that silver plays an important role in human health. (3) A joint study between the University of Texas and Mexico University published in the Journal of Nanotechnology showed that silver nano-particles of sizes 1-10nm attached to HIV-1 prevented the virus from bonding to host cells. (4)
Another study, conducted by the Department of Microbiology at Kyungpook National University in Daegu, Korea, and published in the prestigious Journal of Microbiology and Biotechnology, found that nano-silver was comparable in effectiveness to Amphotericin B, one of the most powerful prescription antifungal drugs known to man, which is often used intravenously to cure serious systemic fungal infections. The same study also found that nan-silver was superior to the well-known anti-fungal drug fluconazole (popularly known as Diflucan). (5)
In a recently completed study conducted by researchers from the Washington University School of Medicine and the University of Akron, Ohio, and presented at the 105th International Conference of the American Thoracic Society, researchers infected a group of mice with the bacteria Pseudomona aeroginosa. Psuedomona aeroginosa is a common cause of bacterial pneumonia in humans, especially those on ventilators, those with cystic fibrosis or those with compromised immune systems. Once infected, all the mice then inhaled aerosolized nano-particles once per day. In half of the mice, these particles contained antimicrobial particles known as silver carbene complexes (SCCs).
Mice that inhaled the SCCs had significantly lower concentrations of bacteria in their lungs than mice inhaling placebo nano-..particles. Most significantly, none of the mice in the SCC group died, while all the mice in the control group did. (6)
Were all those doctors who prescribed silver products and the scientists who conducted the studies liars, scammers and/or quacks? Or could it be that mainstream medicine and its advocates are attacking colloidal silver because it really does represent a threat to the hundreds of billions in profits from patented drugs?

Why Would We Let Them Rig the Game?
Why is health insurance the only business that has an exemption from the Sherman Anti-Trust Act other than Major League Baseball? If the delivery of taxpayer trillions by our politicians to the banks to support their fraudulently paid bonuses hasn't shown you what our current government's values are, check this link out.
Through the governmental negligence that we as voters allowed, a health care system was created in which a single health care company controls at least 30 percent of the insurance market in 95% of the country, including states like the following:
Maine, where Wellpoint controls 71% of the market.
North Dakota, where Blue Cross controls 90% of the market.
Arkansas, where Blue Cross Blue Shield controls 75% of the market.
Alabama, where Blue Cross Blue Shield controls 83% of the market.
This monopoly, combined with the misaligned incentives that trap people in employer-based health care, is causing the skyrocketing health care costs that are hurtling our nation towards bankruptcy.
I don't know what's worse: that most Republicans seem to be against ending this unfair legal protection for an entrenched industry that is ruining our country with their non-competitive practices, or that most Democrats seem to be threatening this arrangement only as a bargaining chip to push for a meaningless public option that wouldn't be accessible to almost 85% of the population?
Instead of improving our country, through creating and enforcing free and fair markets, our politicians are currently engaging in backroom deals, most of which protect the very companies who profit the most from these disastrous outdated systems -- industries like health insurance and big Pharma.
While we clearly have the ability as a group of 305 million to update the system that is American Health Care and move our country into the 21st century in the process, it's becoming clear that we may not have the leaders to do it.
Instead of seeking answers to the problem of paying for and providing medicine, we are doing the exact opposite. Taxpayers' money is being played with by politicians who are desperately trying to protect the competition-stifling, false security of the monopolistic employer-based health care system and its outdated, over-charging, under-delivering ways. Given the least consideration are those affected the most -- the patients and the doctors who care for them.
This country's founders built an ingenious system of checks and balances for a reason: to ensure that no special interest or group could use government power to commandeer the creative and economic wealth of our nation to their own ends. How much longer must we live in a country where the citizens are subservient to the banks, health insurance companies and any other special interest able to control our government at the expense of our the most basic principles of fairness, our future as a nation and, as a result, our freedom?
